Installation Instructions

26-350 Passenger Sport board and Riser, K1600GT / K1600GTL

Tools Required:

Small screwdriver, (1/8" Allen wrench, 5/32" Allen wrench supplied in Parts Kit).

Parts Kit, Included:

1 Ea. 1/8" Allen Wrench

1 Ea. 5/32" Allen Wrench

Place motorcycle on center stand.

Remove Stock Foot Pegs:

With screw driver remove the E clip.
Wiggle foot peg up and down as you remove the clevis pin. There will be a ball and a spring.

Install Passenger Risers:

Check to see that none of the four 3-20 nylon tipped setscrews are protruding from backside of mounting bracket.
Use the 5/32@ Allen wrench to remove the two 3-20 button head screws from the mounting bracket.

3. Fit mounting bracket into clevis on footrest plate and install clevis pin. Reinstall the E-clip.

4. Use the 1/8@ Allen wrench to tighten the four set screws (these will adjust the angle that the Sport board fits the bike).

5. By unscrewing the two 3-20 button head screws you can adjust the risers up and down to find proper placement for your needs. Tighten the two 3-20 button heads when done.

HIGHWAY PEGS for the R1250 GS Adventure

Ilium Works is proud to announce the 29-200 HIGHWAY PEGS for the R1250 GS Adventure.

The factory engine guard bar configuration has presented quite a challenge when it comes to properly mounting a comfortable highway peg. Our new part number 29-200 Highway Pegs address this problem with a unique mounting system. A gracefully curved 1/4" X 1” stainless steel bar connects the upper and lower bars of the factory engine guard and provides a sturdy foundation to mount the highway pegs in the proper location.
